Is not in Puna.

It is about 1 maybe 2 miles outside Hilo on the way to Kona...
Honoli'i is one of the places everyone Surfs/boogie boards....etc...

yea, it's really cute cottages/homes, it's in a really cool jungly area, and a friend, Steve Marcotte owns/runs them. Nice fellah.

Hey Kimo I'm bouncing back and forth with your friends,it's been a bit dodgy I'm not able to get em on the phone and the e-mails are a bit slow but Tara seems nice and should have one of there very nice places booked by tomorrow.Bit of a problem on my side as well there set up nice to book/pay over the net but my wife opened up a trojan the other day and I have not had the time to make extra sure the PC's clean so I'm not willing to do any financials on it atm. thx again

just a thought, maybe you should do a night or two in volcano while waiting for your other place to be ready. volcano will offer a great "change" and you can make use of those couple of days that you didn't get your first choice by exploring a different area of puna. (there's a suggestion for a place in volcano somewhere in an earlier posting.)
