Re: Shmoozing
I have my good days and my bad days when it comes to schmoozing. I organize a lot of social events, and so I usually find it easy to talk to random people. When I'm around a big group of people I know already, however, I sometimes get "socially lazy" and prefer to just listen and tune people in and out while I people-watch. I gotta admit that adding alcohol to the mix helps increase my schmoozing abilities exponentially (or at least it seems so!), and I hear less accusations that I'm being "snobby" (when in fact I'm actually just shy).
