I was just playing around with one of those rar files.
    Try this method.
    First, unzip the file.
    Then, extract the file.
A temporary open file will appear.
Send that temporary open file to My Documents.
I got an unblocked, unzipped file.

Thanx to both, I got more files that need special care and will try these.

But, I only can download the part 1 of the series of a rar file. Part 2 and higher of the file are damaged and can't be extracted.

rar is a lossless compression format, like zip, so it shouldn't affect fidelity of music files (e.g.). The "insert disk 2" message presumably refers to the 2nd floppy disk of a large archive which needed to be split into parts, saved with one part on each floppy. That's an ancient archive, and I know about it only because I am an ancient person. I don't even have floppy drives on my current computers. I don't know how you could retrieve files saved in such an archaic format. Maybe some program designed to retrieve large multipart archives of videos uploaded to usenet alt.sex.whatever would work.
