Like others have stated about themselves, I, too, can't imagine what others would find interesting about my life. My dad, otoh, was a fascinating man...so I blog about him!

Re: Show Your Blog
I have a few blogs about my personal life, but honestly they're just for my own reference or for my personal friends, and I wouldn't expect perfect strangers to read them (and am often startled when somebody does).
However, I do have one blog that's aimed at a public audience: The Rat Hunter Diaries. I don't update it nearly as often as I ought to, but that's a trend with most of my websites, unfortunately..

Re: Show Your Blog
The about page, linked earlier, explains it all. It was initially "community blog," a single blog with many contributors. Discussions did occur, but based on individual posts, and the focus of the content was personal storytelling, not general discussion (though the number of random discussions that popped up is what prompted me to start HawaiiThreads). Blogs and message boards are different beasts. Some kinds of expression and interaction work better in one venue than another.
To foster more storytelling, HawaiiStories also started hosting blogs for people. And these days, no one really posts to the "community blog," instead writing away on their individual blogs (which are also excerpted on the front page).
If you have any more questions about HawaiiStories, feel free to contact me. Let's get back to finding more blogs!

Re: Show Your Blog
My blog is at HawaiiStories, too.
I like having different categories. Some stuff is all in pidgin, others, like my knitting stuffs, I write in good kine English.
However, I did have several non-pidgin speaking readers tell me what they love about my blog is the pidgin!
I'd thought about having 2 separate blogs, (one in pidgin), but decided against it. I do give a warning on my category list which ones are in pidgin. Then people can choose what they want to read.Aloha,
Mokihana
