All interesting stuff. We have a guy who comes to our local pub with a white truck, selling meat every Wednesday and usually during quiz night.
I very seldom buy any but during the winter I sometimes buy a large pack of bacon, then split it up into about 4 freezer bags and give them to the little old ladies around here.
The pavements become frozen and it is dangerous for them to walk to the shops. I can pick up their essentials and get a taxi home.
The meat I have bought from the van/man has always been OK.
