   Unfortunately, Yummy's. About two weeks ago. Yummy's is fine, but I used to eat much more frequently at Sorabol, Ok Cho, and other places. But she married someone else, and I haven't found a new Korean food partner. Yet.
   
   
2. Where did you go for your last filipino grindz? (Dinuguan, Pancit, Guisantes, Adobo, etc)?
   I don't know what it is, but I cannot have Filipino food in a Filipino restaurant. Every time I try, I don't know. I'm just not ready for Filipino Filipino food, I guess. So my last Filipino food was the pork adobo at KJ's in Kaneohe. About two weeks ago.
   
   
3. Where did you go for your last Hawaiian grindz? (Laulau, "squid" luau, kalua pig, poi, lomi salmon, etc.)
   I had a Hawaiian plate at L&L in Kailua on Wednesday afternoon. My credit union is out there.

   Mitsuken. Early Monday morning.

   I love me some ribs, but I always feel like such a pig when I get them. I think the last time I had pork back ribs was at Bob's BBQ in Stadium Mall about a year ago.

   Star Market. Didn't buy much. Just bottled water, some nonfat plain yogurt, and a bunch of bananas.

CPK, about three months ago.

Loco Moco drive in, in Moanalua. Not my favorite, but close to work and it takes plastic. Had the chili mix.

Where did you go for your last soft-serve ice cream?
Dairy Queen in Ward Warehouse, about a month ago with my friends George and Ross. Had a strawberry cheesecake Blizzard.

Where did you go for your last shave ice?
Ice Garden in Aiea Shopping Center, about three months ago. Custard pudding, milk, mochi balls. Mmmm.

Where did you go for your last slice of pie?
Zippy's, early in the summer, during a reunion committee meeting. It was okay.

My last beer was at home, but the last one I went out for was at a sports bar in Salt Lake. Sam Adams, with some cheese fries. This was at the end of May.

Sumo Ramen at Kam Shopping Center. The ramen there isn't very good, but the place is open until 10:00 on weeknights and it's close to home.

Oh, this place in the 99 Ranch Market food court. It's very, very good bubble tea. I will only drink this if it's made with real tea, and most places make it from some kind of powder. This was good tea, though.

Ugh. I hate to say it, but Hungry Lion in Nuuanu. Had the Super Chili Bowl and it was kinda gross. I knew it would be, and I ordered it anyway.

Napoleon's Bakery at Zippy's Kapalama. Had a glazed twist.

BK in Kaneohe. Just a couple of cheeseburgers for breakfast yesterday..

Finally, I can write the name of a place I'm not ashamed to frequent: Nico's at Pier 38, Friday. Fish and scrambled eggs. So yummy I can't stand it.

It's been a while, but probably TCBY at Kam Shopping Center (the TCBY is not there anymore), where I had a vanilla Moo Malt, probably last spring.

I am not much of a cheesecake fan, so it has been quite a while. I think Starbucks had a cheesecake of some kind, and I tried a slice last spring.

I'd rather just have ice cream, so I almost NEVER get a sundae. However, my family took me to Stuart Anderson's in Waimalu for dinner on my birthday, and the restaurant brought a brownie sundae with a candle in it.

Mercury Bar just off Fort St. Mall, back in May.

Oh, I can't remember the name of it. That place in Waimalu Shopping Center. I like to stop there on my way home from visiting the folks.

Holy mackerel. I haven't had an omelette at a restaurant in years. Gosh, it was probably at Uncle Billy's Kona Bay Hotel about three years ago.

I hate buffets. The last one I went to was at my 20th HS reunion, July 7, at 2660 on the Rise. It was very, very good.

I'm not into gummy candy, but I do love me some kaki mochi. The last package I bought was one of those big, green-capped tubs you get at Longs. My preferred kaki mochi place is Baldwin's Snack Shop in Waimalu.
