Be AKAMAI ~ KOKUA Hawai`i! Philippians 4:13 --- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
For Valentines Day, I went to Maunakea Market Place and ordered "Dinaguan" or "Chocolate Covered Meat" heheheh Beef Feet Lauya (Soup), and Rice - take out. From Nestors. Hawaiian Punch to drink. I am content once again.
Yesterday, seared ahi with some kind of tomato/olive topping, garlic mashed potatoes, baby peas and a cheese-heavy salad from a lunchwagon in Iwilei. And hey, it was on someone else's dime, so even better!
Gee, I thought you were going to name a fancy restaurant down in Waki Waki somewheres. Like Kimo asked me in another thread, I guess I have been under a rock. I don't even know what lunch wagons are serving these days. That dish sounded too "sophisticated" for a lunch wagon.
Okay I ate at home. Had a can of Bush's baked beans with 1/2 a Portagee sausage sliced up in it over hapa rice and a piece of corn bread with iced coffee. Melanie decided she like my beans instead of her PB&J sammich.
Yeah, this is what I eat when no one is home to feed lazy me. It's those red dinner frank things fried in Ted's teriyaki sauce. The stuff underneath is spaghetti and potato salad. Mom's version of mac salad. And that's it. Doesn't sound or look very appetizing (or healthy, heh), but by golly, I loves it and it tastes great for 5 minutes worth of "cooking."
