Saw I could get a pepperoni pizza from 7-Eleven for about a dollar cheaper than the UH-Manoa Papa John's, but instead opted for a $2 "hamburger curry" bowl from a vending machine.
I very much doubt it. None of those big-box places are usually open on
weekends. And Papa John's, even on weekdays, opens much later than
the other ones.
(I wouldn't bet any money on it being around for very long.)
Indian buffet: tandoori chicken, vegetarian biryani, dal, chicken aloo, cole slaw, washed down with an iced chai tea. Dessert was rice pudding. All for about $8 bucks.

The "Asian Club" from Willoughby's Restaurant at the Honolulu Airport Hotel (formerly the Holiday Inn). I'm not quite sure what makes it "asian" versus your average club, except for the inclusion of scrambled egg. But it's tasty! And the restaurant is a friendly, quiet, reasonable jewel in the industrial rough of the airport area.
Yesterday, I had mochiko chicken, shoyu potatoes, corn and seaweed from Family BBQ, a little Korean plate lunch place at the Airport Trade Center. Nearly everyone in my office goes there now, and at noon, the line goes right out the door!
