Costco Iwilei is selling "rotiserie chicken salad," which I guess is the rotiserie chicken boned and mixed with celery, onions, mayo, parsley. Well, it's three massive scoops. So I had one today for lunch on romaine lettuce leaves with carrots and daikon similarly prepared to Bale's (without the dressing I can't seem to nail yet!), topped with balsamic. I wouldn't get the salad again, but I'm glad I tried it and it resulted in a low-carb lunch with water.

Prime rib, sliced thin, piled high - on a toasted ciabatta roll, with arugula, caramelized red onions and garlic/blue-cheese butter; a bowl of "Azteca" chicken & rice soup; a bottle of VitaminWater ("Energy" flavor.)

From Simon's, a new-to-me sandwich shop in downtown Seattle --- while the winds were blowing and the rain was coming down sideways, warping the view of the Rem Koolhaas-designed public library across the street. (Just trying to set the scene a little bit for you.)

Oh, in the company of the Alpha Female, too, after we got our flu shots in her office today.
