I don't believe it happened. Everyone knows Asian guys aren't tall enough to reach the ice cream counter.

Hey, Paul! When are you coming back to do a show in Honolulu? Still rocking that leather trench coat you wore at Pipeline? You sexy m-f!

Damn, that bit you did on Chinese porn still cracks me up at odd moments, when I don't expect it ... like, during board meetings.

And if you're Hawaiian and you don't eat poi, then something's wrong with you.

        Oh... wait. You're not Hawaiian.

No but my wife is half and she doesn't eat it... although her family makes their own...
she has found that after all these years of making it as a kid...she no longer likes it...

therefor, she doesn't eat poi anymore.

I'm sure there are other Hawaiians that don't eat it too.

                  I know I don't.

My parents fed me poi too much as a kid. Just like Easy Mac and PBJs, I have a hard time eating poi.

In college I took a mahiai kalo class with Kumu Po guys. I understand the cultural significance it has, but just choose not to eat it.

Last I checked, nothing's wrong with me and no one has the right to tell me otherwise. It's a personal choice.

                  That is all.

Only while I was in Japan - but it was a habit I could have easily fallen into.

                      I carry a trampoline everywhere.

Still have that leather coat, but haven't really had a chance to use it since it's been so hot here. How the hell did Clint Eastwood wear his leather trenchcoat in the desert in all those "Man with no name" movies??

Good to hear that you're still enjoying the last show. I'll be back in the Fall. Details soon...

                        Very cool!

I just sent my Irvine daughter your Irvine and Hollywood info...and threatened her that she'd better attend one of 'em! She'll be in Hawaii 'til the night of 9/5, but she's young (well, kinda!) and should be able to fly all night, drive from LAX directly to work in Huntington Beach then leave work and attend your Irvine gig. Right?

I hear the English refuse to get out of bed until kippers are presented for their breakfasting approval.

                          Broiled fish...miso soup...best breakfast ever!

Whatever is left over from dinner the night before, I'll eat for breakfast! Fish, spaghetti, steak, salad, meatballs, veggies...you name it! If there are no leftovers I'll make a sugar-free chocolate omelette with cream cheese and fresh strawberries in the middle!

Do cold homemade salmon patties count? My boys and I fight over them so I make a double batch for supper so there are plenty left over for breakfast. (My salmon patties are moist and delicious, nothing like what cafeterias or restaurants serve.)
