Spam Musubi, home made. Some plain, some sato-shoyu style for the benefit of my daughter's friend who slept over last night.
She's from Cali. ... and has really taken to local culture (to the degree that she's been exposed to it). She loves rice and gravy, for instance!
There's an occasional mis-step however, which gives us all a good laugh ... like the time she called herself a "Nola" girl ... (she meant 'Nalo). LOL! How cute is that!? She was at the house at the time, so it was a safe environment in which to slip up.
Gotta go get the rice cooled off, slice up the Spam and mix some shoyu and sugar ... maybe I'll throw in some Mirin, too.

Not sure if your comment was directed towards me, but to be clear I was reading what everyone else had in hopes of finding something to have for my breakfast this morning. Settled on fruit and left over chicken.
