my go to is Italian sausage subs mass-made in the freezer, ready to eat
yellow/green/red bells / onions / garlic diced / browned, It. herb mix, remove, brown lots of 1'' cubed hot It. links, dump veggies on top after turning meat, simmer. this is good as is, or add stock, tomato paste, bay leaf, herb / spice to taste, boil down to near thick, cool, save til tomorrow. cut out center loaf, line with cheese, veg spread, meatballs, veg spread top filler, cheese, It. herb garnish. place in freezer, when hungry micro soft, into toaster over til crispy.
