I heard Mountain Dew is gonna' begin charging a $2-dollar-per-can "high demand" fee on their product. Good ones Helen!

Well, you can throw the Marukai "99 Cent Store" out the window. Now most of their plastic, kill-our-environment, made-in-China, headed-for-the-landfill inventory will set you back $1.49.

Taco Bell still has their 99-cent value meal menu last time I checked. Hook me up with 3 crunchy tacos and I'm good. Oh wait..now that's $3.00. Ouch. lol

geez...back in 1972 a buck could get you a hamburger, fries and a small Coke at McDonalds and still have enough change to go to Longs Drugs any buy six candy bars. And that was at the McDonalds in Kahala!

McDonalds has a $1.00 menu with lotsa choices. I find it a bit funny that the McDs in Waikiki (Discovery Bay...the most expensive McDs in Hawaii, I heard) doesn't post that menu in the store. But, when asked, they comply! Oh, and for those 55+...60¢ "senior" drinks! Burger King has the same drink deal. JitBox's senior soft drink is 85¢ but it's larger than the other 2 places.

mini pumpkins, 2 for 99¢. i had to rush to buy fifty of em at safeway for the mini pumpkin decorating contest, which is part of the halloween celebration the COO asked me to organize. cept she only asked me last tuesday.
