Re: Halloween don'ts
We have a flag up that looks like a pumpkin with the eyes nose and mouth
made to look like candy corn it is very cute! We have orange lights in all
of our outdoor sconces.
In our neighborhood they do some organized party and if you want to give
out candy you get a sign from the committee and put it in your yard.
We have a really really long driveway and no one ever wants to come up
it anyway so we don't give out candy. The dogs go berserk so it's probably
just as well. I am sure they get enough candy and junk at the party at
whichever house hosts it.
I loved the part about full sized candy bars! I miss popcorn ball but my
teeth sure don't!

Under 18, DON'T.
Of course, my answer above would be a little different if I myself, a male, was under the age of 18 (that was many moons ago).Beijing 8-08-08 to 8-24-08

I went trick or treating last year, at the tender young age of 22. Nobody had a problem with it and most commented on how cute my costume was -- Little Red Riding Hood, complete with fleece red hood and pink wicker basket. I even had my mom walking me from door to door. We're making up for lost time.
As for the original list -- I love candy corn, fun-sized candies, smarties, tootsie rolls.. heck, I even enjoy getting fruit. Pennies, plastic rings, fake money are all don'ts.
