It's a hoax. Probably intended to boost the sale of swiss watches. I mean, really! People didn't wear wrist watches, much less one designed like one for their finger. In fact, as recent as the 1950's, wrist watches were considered too feminine for men. They used pocket watches. Did you notice the article did not state who wrote it or is taking direct credit for the story?
It was obviously a 20th century product. And unless it was somehow a total sham, the question would be, how did it get in the tomb? Maybe a varmit with good taste carried it off and, well who knows...?
