I still use a typewriter to type folder labels and any other kind of label that I only need one of that is too small to go into a printer without jamming the thing.
Hearing J. Akuhead Pupule and the Coconut Wireless news playing on my father's radio as he got ready to go to work (and us to go to school) on weekday mornings.
Dot Matrix Printers! They were so loud and noisy and jammed all the time, but playing in the cast-off edges (the parts with the dots) was so much fun! My sisters and I would make bracelets out of them. A company I worked for in 2001 had one and I was the only person who knew how to work it.
Chips and snacks that weren't "X-Treme" flavored.
Cokes that were just cokes and didn't have vanilla or lime or lemon or crap in them. Eww. (the cans, I mean. Getting a flavored one at a Sonic or soda shoppe was totally different)
People who walked around WITHOUT earphones in wherever they went.
