I've enjoyed rubbing corners of pillows, freshly sharpened pencils, and anything thorny against my fingertips or my chin for time immemorial. I'm sure this is some sort of OCD.

Hedgehogs are not that sharp...they are fun. Kinda stinky, too.
Mike, I don't think you are OCD...a little pointedly fixated, maybe....

Mike, if you ever do get a chance to hold a hedgehog, do it. Now THAT is the pet for you. Plenty pointy, rolls up in a ball, not too sharp (mentally or physically.)

Eww. That's nasty.
Honestly, I feel sorry for the porcupine.
I just hope Mike_Lowery's OCD doesn't extend to hammering a nail to his 'nad.Beijing 8-08-08 to 8-24-08
Tiananmen Square 4-15-89 to 6-04-89

Other pointed objects I find myself playing with throughout the day: cuts on keys, mechanical pencil tips, staples, tines on a fork, and pushpins.
