Reported in the recess of today's SA was the very disturbing news that on Tues. afternoon two masked thugs with pipes repeatedly attacked Cox until witnesses intervened out in the Kalaeloa area where he has been exposing alleged scandals and improper usage of the lands concerning State officials and others. He mentioned past threats and his awareness of physical violence against him being possible during his most recent airing of K108's Carroll Cox Show 9-11am Sun., and then it actually happens. It could have been much worse, and still could be. This is major news, a former State legislator and current pot stirrer with an unpopular voice being leaned on like this yet it barely makes a blip in local media? At least it did make the paper.

Next day 2nd page SA follow up had Cox alleging attempted murder along with the paper stating the need to apprehend those responsible, and Sunday he was on the air albeit a bit groggy from painkillers but still on the job. Nothing since concerning suspects.Comment
