    toasted jus right without burning.

        That's odd. I was doing a search through these old 5Qs posts (don't want to repeat myself, you know), and I noticed that I never answered my own questions on this one.
        1. How do you like your steak?
          Medium, with lots of salt and pepper.
        2. How do you like your eggs?
          Sunny-side up, with the whites cooked through and the yolks still runny! Yum.
        3. How do you like your coffee?
          Black.
        4. How do you like your burgers?
          Well done, with ketchup, a good slice of tomoto, and grilled onions on a sesame seed bun. A slice of avocado is nice, too, sometimes.
        5. How do you like your toast?
          Dry, if I'm eating it with something savory, such as steak and eggs or a loco moco. With peanut butter and honey if the toast is actually the meal.

              - Usually well done, though I'm learning to like it more medium these days (after being told for so long that "well done" really ruins a good steak) - maybe a dash of worcestershire sauce.

              How do you like your eggs?
              - Non-existent (I just don't like to eat eggs.) Though, if I must, scramble 'em with some feta cheese, please.

              How do you like your coffee?
              - I'm in Seattle, but I never liked coffee. Please don't tell the authorities. Hot burnt-bean water, feh.

              How do you like your burgers?
              - With bacon, bleu cheese, onions and mustard.

              How do you like your toast?
              - Sourdough, buttered.

                Medium to medium-well, with A-1 sauce, please.

                How do you like your eggs?
                Scrambled. Or in an omelet. Or over-easy on a loclo moco. Or hard-boiled.

                How do you like your coffee?
                Lots of cream and a pinch of sugar, plus a dash of hazelnut creamer.

                How do you like your burgers?
                Add cheese and avocado; hold the onions.

                How do you like your toast?
                Cinnamon!

                  Medium rare off the grill. Hawaiian salt & pepper rub, dash of Lea & Perrins.

                  How do you like your eggs?
                  Over easy w/ Tabasco. Preferably with a side of portuguese sausage.

                  How do you like your coffee?
                  Cream, no sugar, but we've been buying the French Vanilla Coffee Mate lately and it's pretty tasty. 100% Kona if we still have some left from our last trip.

                  How do you like your burgers?
                  I like them medium rare, but order them medium. (Ooh, you folks should try the the new Islands restaurant at Ala Moana. Went there weekly in college in LA. Great burgers, fries, salads, chicken sandwiches...)

                  How do you like your toast?
                  Sourdough, buttered right from the toaster and eaten over the kitchen sink.

                      On my plate. I'll eat eggs any ol' way I can get them. But I'm partial to over-easy liberally sprinkled with Tabasco.

                      3. How do you like your coffee?

                      Two creams, two sugars.

                      4. How do you like your burgers?

                      Way too rare for most places. Did you know they make you sign a waiver at Big City Diner if you want your burger anything other than burnt to a crisp? Insanity.

                      Under my eggs.

                        the issue is how does coffee like me. It doesn't. At all.

                        I rarely eat them but a Whopper Jr. will do!

                        I don't. Rather spend the carbs elsewhere.

                          Steak: Medium rare (and eaten very rarely), with gorgonzola crumbled on top and some onions sauteed in balsamic vinegar on the side (makes 'em taste like pickled cipollini)

                          Eggs: In a torta with pancetta, onions, potato and lotsa Asiago cheese on top or scrambled with pesto and Asiago (to make "Green Eggs and Ham") or in a smoked salmon/cream cheese omlet.

                          Coffee: usually black

                          Hamburger: rarely eat 'em at a restaurant. When I make hamburgers (rarely) I usually grind my own meat; that way I can cook 'em rare and not be afraid of e.coli.

                          Toast: when I was eating more carbs, my favorite way was in Haupia French Toast with guava syrup on top. Borrowed the recipe from the Halekulani and made it my own.

                              Hate steak. Too much like eating roadkill. I can manage if it's well done, with steak sauce.

                              Sunny and runny

                              A real cappuccino - basic Italian style, not the overfoamed American confection travesty.

                              Hold the meat - gimme portabello burgers.
                            5. How do you like your toast?
                              Rye or pumpernickel, dipped in runny egg yokes.

                                2. How do you like your eggs? Sunny side up. And I eat all the white first and pop the whole yolk in my mouth at the end.
                                3. How do you like your coffee? Preferably, mixed with chocolate in the form of mocha. Failing that, cream and lots of sugar.
                                4. How do you like your burgers? Rarely eat 'em, but preferably with as much vegetables on top and as little sauce (mayo, etc.) as possible.
                                5. How do you like your toast? Light golden brown.
