Thanks, everyone, for the birthday wishes. I don't know how you people know it's my birthday. HT thinks my birthday is the 31st. I had a nice morning with coffee and lots of music (After Forever and Lunatica, mostly), then an unplanned nap (in a cafe), then lunch at the Flickr meet-up, then more time in a different cafe, then dinner with a friend. I'm closing it out at yet a third cafe, setting goals for this, the fortieth year of my life. There are better kinds of goals I'd like to be setting, such as goals for the fortieth year of my life twenty years from now, but whatever.

Don't bother doing that as you'll change your goals at least 20 times between now and then! Now's the time to throw caution to the wind and let life take you along for the ride! And, what a ride it is!
