Wo I will be hitting that age in the next five years. What's it like being the Big 3-0? I'll be there soon enough, and I hope to still be active as I am now, but much wiser. You have a GREAT and WONDERFUL Birthday. All the BEST dude
I just reached the big 3-0 on February 19th.. scary eh...
Hey Guys! I'm 44 now. Ain't no big deal, just keep putting one foot in front of the other as always. Celebrate life, enjoy everyday and make the best of it. Salud! ( of course my latest avatar is from when I was 20. HaHa! )

Oh no, it's going to be creeping in on me soon, but I am ready to embrace that age. like what old Frank Sinatra said in one of his songs
And if you should survive to 105
Look at all you'll derive out of being alive

When do you arrive? And how long ya staying? Maybe we can get the boatride of HT'ers together while you're here.
Hey that would be great. My wife and I are arriving on May 27, and we will be staying on Oahu for 7 days, and then we are flying to Maui for another 7 days. Man I can't wait...
May 27th is our first anniversary, we got married at shark's cove last year!!

You'll be surprised, Pedro - once you get a couple years past the Big 3-0, it no longer looks so Big, and neither does 4-0, or the one that's looming ahead of me in a few years (you know the one, it completes the TV show title that starts "Hawaii...".)
You can still be as active into your 30s, 40s and 50s as you are at 25, too --- it's just that the recovery period gets a little longer.
I've heard it said that the last age at which you should expect anyone to make a fuss over your birthday is eleven. Thanks, MMan, for continuing to fuss over everyone.
