The Alpha Female from Kane`ohe tells me this today:
I went to da Post Office today and bought a stamp series released in late May called "Wonders of America: Land of Superlatives." Out of the 40 stamps in the series, three had references to Hawai`i. Highest Sea Cliffs were from Moloka`i; Rainiest Spot was (no surprise) Mt. Wai`ale`ale, and Most Active Volcano (again, no surprise) was Kilauea.
The Pacific Northwest references included Deepest Lake: Crater Lake; and Long Hiking Trail: Pacific Crest Trail.
