Where to apply for a seasonal job?

In the paper today, an article said that if you want a seasonal job this year, its best to apply early (like now). My question is, what's a good place to apply at? Of course, I'll be looking for a weekend job, as I'm reserving my evenings for computer repair.

I never tried it myself but I suspect Sears might be the place to go.
