I also walk whenever I can, and even though I drive, I appreciate it when I have to park out of the way (unless I know I'll be actually bringing stuff back to the car).

Lucky for me I don't have the sense of smell anymore. But when I did...I didn't look down upon them. Instead my heart went out to them. You see Serenity, I was like them.

I don't know about that. Sure it is cheaper to take the bus, but will some of us willing to be patient enough to go stop by stop to get to their destination ?, when driving is faster.

Sometimes one can always be better than the other (when it comes to transportation) .

Or just walk it if you can. Kind of like one of my hubby's friends,
he just walks it all over (as his transportation) .

This web site listing of downtown parking on hellohonolulu.com mentioned in one of the parking threads above is in dire need of updating. The first 5 'map it' links lead to the same location! I got bored of checking after that!

Before clicking that "New Thread" button, try a "Search"! See also previous downtown parking threads:That last one isn't about downtown specifically, but is an interesting topic nonetheless.

Thank you so much!!! You have no idea how helpful this is to me!!!

Cheap places to park in downtown??

I know parking is expensive downtown but I have to just deal with it as I am starting an internship this week. I will be near Bethel Street. The firm I am interning with does not offer parking. Bummers!!! I have been fortunate enough to work on the windward side most of my adult life so the idea of paying for parking sucks!! Any ideas of a good and cheap places to park that aren't too far away?? I will be there 1 full day and 2 half days each week. Thanks everyone.
Working...
