Re: Pet Peeve of the Day
"did a teacher never correct them" is correct grammar, when you are speaking english.
if you're speaking yoda, then twould be "correct them, did a teacher not?"
i'll post my pet peeve with the caveat that it's not for the day, but for the morning. it's only 11:20am. i'm sure once the beau and i get out on the road, other pet peeves will reveal themselves whether i want them to or not.
anyway, i hate drying myself from an invigorating shower and discovering, despite what i thought was a meticulous, multi-directional armpit shave job, ONE lone palm tree of an armpit hair stubble in the middle of smoothly-shaven landscape. what the heck? did that one hair develop some sort of anti-razor shielding??!! did it bend over backwards, ala neo in matrix??!! i had to pluck the sucker out, it incensed me so.
