"Man sues IBM over firing, says he's an internet addict

A man who was fired by IBM for visiting an adult chat room at work is suing the company for $5 million, claiming he is an Internet addict who deserves treatment and sympathy rather than dismissal...."

I sincerely doubt the drafters of the Americans with Disabilities Act ever foresaw the act being contorted in attempts to cover things like "internet addiction". but a couple who worked at IBM only got transferred for actually having sex on a desk? Who knew IBM was such a wild place to work?

Go without turning on the PC at all for one whole day - everybody an addict - or cell phone - tv, etc. Employers would rather direct complusives towards being a workaholic.

Somebody challenged me no PC for one day - I said no - only to 6PM - started it up at 5PM.

He deserved it. Americas work ethics are going in the toilet. It is funny when you go to Third World Countries they always complain us American workers are crazy or lazy and we complain too much!
