So just a few minutes ago two dogs from down the street came into my yard chasing my chickens. I have an Air Soft pellet gun I use to keep stray cats away (doesn't hurt but scares the crap outta them).

Today I think I'm gonna get a standard pellet gun because this isn't the first time these dogs have come onto my property unleashed. They crap all over my one acre property and I'm getting pissed. But one day those dogs are gonna chase my little boy. Chasing my chickens was bad enough, I'm not gonna wait until it's my kids.

Next time it's gonna be painful for those dogs and if I catch them it's off to the Humane society. Too bad for the owner.

Shotgun with rock salt loads works excellent. But don't aim towards your neighbors house, and give dogs at least 20 yards headstart so as not to injure them too seriously. It will work on the first try, guaranteed.

And you have never seen a dog jump so damned high in your life.
