With five Top 25 teams losing (but two games were between two Top 25-ers), looks like Hawaii could be in the polls during the regular season for the first time since Wags' days. Let's set the Over-Under for their ranking at 24, and have 1,000,000,000,000 HawaiiThreads dollars at stake.

If UH can dominate tonights game... I think we deserve to be in the top 20.
Had Boise St. not came back and won that game... and UH wins tonight... (this scenario would have put us at the top of the WAC)
So I think we would have moved into the 17th Rank...
With Boise St. Coming back and winning... against a crappy team... I think it hurts UH's chance...
So I think we will be ranked 23rd.... If we win tonight dominantly....
And that's my final answer Mr. Lowery.

Passing yards 225 / 506
Sacked-yards lost 5-49 / 0-0
Return yards 19 / 110

Punts 5-42 / 0-0
Fumbles-lost 2-0 / 3-1
Penalties-yards 6-65 / 7-57
Time of possession 38:22 / 21:38
FINAL SCORE: 17 LT - 61 UH
Someone has to look at this realistically now.... they had the ball almost twice as long as us yet we scored 3 times the amount of points.....
Simply amazing!
If Rutgers wasn't having such an amazing season... I would say Coach Jones would have to be up there for Coach of the Year!
Just looked at the stats... anyone know why Nate Ilaoa didn't play?Last edited by damontucker; November 11, 2006, 10:50 PM.

I suspect that's why PPV rates went from $75 the first two years (you got the same rate in year 2 if you bought in year 1) to the exorbitant rates being charged today. UH keeps all of the PPV revenue. Or maybe it was the Sports Agent Leigh Steinbergs company that put this idea into Herman Frazier's head.
In any case, there is nothing that can beat the game live. We've got the #1 college offense in the nation and that is something I will always be able to look back on. And after all, have we forgotten the Von Appen years so quickly?

And you are saying that the money UH Athletics saves is now just being sucked back into the general fund? Someone tell Herman Frazier to stand up for the program! He’s the one who lobbied for the rent break in the first place. Use the savings to balance the budget, for chrissake!!!

Re: UH in next week's NCAA football polls?
If UH is to continue using the Stadium.... I hope they will invest some money into a new Trinitron Screen(s)
The resolution was terrible... and for that matter...they should have them on both sides of the stadiums so that people sitting underneath the Large TV's would at least be able to watch the Replays also.

Re: UH in next week's NCAA football polls?
It's not the NCAA poll, but...
Warriors ranked No. 25 in three football polls
The University of Hawai'i's school-record eighth consecutive victory vaulted the Warriors to the No. 25 spot in three college football polls today. UH is ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, the USA Today Top 25 coaches' poll, and the Harris Interactive College Football Poll. It is the first appearance by UH in a poll since November 2002, when UH was ranked No. 25 in a ESPN/USA Today poll.
