Gary Gill, former Honolulu Councilman (I think he was on the council, right?), mayoral candidate, DLNR director, gets high marks for this effort. My husband has refurbished and donated several bikes to this group. Talk about walking the walk, or riding the ride! Gary Gill, when will you run for office again? Everyone I knew voted for him, yet he didn't become mayor. So much for ALL the people I know, LOL. This state could use a refreshed infusion of GILL IDEALS.

It's a great program. I took 3 bikes there last year and the kids were there working with the adults on fixing up other donated bikes. They all ran to my vehicle and helped me unload the 3 bikes and seemed thrilled to receive the donations.
