I suspect the current users of Hawaii Threads are going to be upset by my action of closing the thread titled Rail Transit, but after 18 years, 1271 responses and the start of the Skyline rail service, it is time to move on and talk about the on-going plan of Oahu Rail Transit system which is still on going, so this thread is about that, the plan.
Phase 2 is scheduled to start in 2025 (in about 2 years), as it stands the support for the guideway has been built to just past the Middle Street station and is about to get to OCCC on Dillingham Blvd.
Phase 3 on the other hand, they are currently digging up Dillingham Blvd but no guideways are up yet.
No idea yet if they can extend to the original plan of going to Ala Moana Shopping Center at this time.
