There are about 180 instructional days in the school year. If fancy school lunches are your only basis for choosing schools, then send him to public school and give him $10 a day for lunch. $1,800 a year, what a deal.

                  Re: School Lunch Program

A school lunch menu certainly wouldn't deter me from enrolling my kid in public school if I couldn't afford the tuition at a private school, but I think it's disparaties like this that create the social tension between the public and private school kids and families. Fortunately, we don't have kids...just 2 very spoiled popoki!

Its 6 AM. I'm done MAKING my daughter lunch. She has pbj on wheat, carrot sticks, apple slices, and a pudding cup for desert, with a hansen box juice, and a bottle of water.

Total cost = about $3.50 (incl juice & water - all items purchased at Costco in bulk)

What is so damn hard about makin lunch for your keiki?
