    More from the esteemed doctor:

    http://whale.to/a/sars2.htm

Scroll down to one person's opinion of Len Horowitz--"Leonard Horowitz-The Real Story."

    I really pity his kids.

And if this warning letter is genuine, the guy is a total quack. An absolute nut case:

      Thanks for the links windward...

This guy sounds smart... but kind of kooky in the same way...

Incredibly, Dr. Horowitz alerted the FBI, in writing and in person, one week before the first anthrax mailing was announced in the press, that a "major anthrax fright" was in the process of unfolding that demanded the FBI's urgent attention. Needless to say they did not heed Dr. Horowitz's prophetic warning.

Moreover, three months before the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, Dr. Horowitz released his thirteenth book, prophetically titled Death in the Air: Globalism, Terrorism and Toxic Warfare (http://www.healthyworlddistributing....ail.aspx?ID=3),. The book focuses on the West Nile Virus as an act of bioterroism, and considers what and who is really behind this and other recent outbreaks. Dr. Horowitz argues that his disclosures expose the roots of global terrorism, along with the individuals and organizations at the heart of what he calls "the petrochemical-pharmaceutical cartel." He believes this "multi-national corporate beast" is in the process of committing global genocide, profiting from engineered frights, and at the same time, most efficiently culling targeted populations considered excessive.

Does he know more than he should?

We request that you take prompt action to correct the noted violations. Failure to promptly correct these violations may result in enforcement action being initiated by the Food and Drug Administration without further notice. The Act provides for the seizure of illegal products and for injunctions against the manufacturer and/or distributor of those products.

Don't be fooled by his pseudoscientific jargon. I couldn't even read a paragraph of/about the trash he wrote, it was revolting. Same type of ploy used by evolutionist opponents as far as the jargon gimick.

Paranoia, narcissism, Ivy League credentials and a flair for the dramatic.

Ugly combination but it sells books and can be quite convincing to some.

Now I REALLY pity his kids. He must be a terrible tyrant and a horror to live with.

He's been here since at least 2003.

He attended a Hawaii County Police Commission meeting where, according to the minutes of the meeting, he declared that he was "literally directed by the great creator to be here."

Re: Student Expelled for Refusing the Tuberculosis Test

I can only imagine that the good doctor blends right into the greater Puna/Kau social scene. Counter Culture, Naturopathic, Spiritually Enlightened, Utopian, Peaceful, Conspiracy Theorists, etc, etc.

Logic and rationality are so overrated.

More likely running TO a place where he figures he can run more scams and collect more supporters.

They dropped the "for Refusing the Tuberclosis Test" Part of the headline!

I wonder why they did that so suddenly?

I posted this at 9:33 and they updated that at 9:41!
They updated the story, rewrote the hed and added a subhed with the other information. Perfectly normal and nothing to get hysterical about.

Well Madazza... isn't this just kind of a recent new trend in journalism though? And IMHO opinion from what I read the first time to the second time...there was no update...just a change in Headline.

I mean once something is printed on paper...hard to stop the presses.
I know mistakes are made and then often "corrected" ...

However, it just seemed curious that the title got changed less than 10 minutes after I posted here.... (when this has been an issue for this Big Island resident since April)

You would think the Tribune would have known what to post or what not to post.... long before the online version came out. (I'm curious what the paper edition says)
