The origin of swine flu is certainly a form of flu.
the culture of the chinese mainland was determined in large part by the kind of terrain
that was to be farmed.
The south has climate with more water and the agriculture reflects that.
The Porcine genepool is close enough to humans that the large culture of porcines
allowed a virus to "jump ship".
The northern region was drier and created a very different culture.
