Not in the least! And these last few posts are right on topic, too, because Brando was one big mutha in his later years.
And you probably know this, but for those who don't, Brando's wife-beater-wearing turn in "Streetcar" is what started the hugely popular movement of guys wearing sleeveless T-shirts as outerwear. A fashion staple that continues today.
Yeah, but overweight and older Brando do not make for a good mix!
I just joined Weight Watchers to support my best friend and take of a few extra pounds. I felt good about only needing to lose 20 (according to the literature). I mean at 5'8" I get quite a bit of leeway on the pound numbers!
Now, that I am working and going to school and having to drive about 2 hours (round trip) to do so - I am ashamed to say that my yoga has fallen by the wayside And I cannot seem to get my behind out of the cozy bed to do a little yoga or pilates before work.
So, after my first week, I am not sure how much I have lost (if anything). My eating habits have only chaged by WHEN I eat not how much or what. And I have a hard tme with that drinking water thing. I forget.
5'10", 165 lbs. I'm not bad now, although I could lose about 10 lbs around my belly without missing them. 20 years ago I was up to 215 lbs, had an attack of gout, was told it was all diet (that's not true; it's as much genetics as food) and went on a 6-week all-fruit-for-lunch binge. Got down to about 175 lbs at that point; I've hovered between 160-170 lbs since. I went down as low as 135 lbs (!) with no medical explanation a few years back; I looked like a wraith.
Gout hurts like hell...but I heard not as bad as kidney stones which uric acid can cause.
