Yanno...since Lily is an angel now herself, I don't think she'd mind if you snagged a copy for yourself

To do those kinds of fractals you need Apophysis.

Download the base application from here:

                http://www.apophysis.org/

Then get the updated versions here:

                http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...roup_id=127736
(there are two, a regular updated version and a special 3D hack version)

                and a set of plugins:

                http://sourceforge.net/projects/apo-plugins/

And a couple places to learn from:

Nice work, Peshkwe! You didn't get that fractal from an iTunes visualizer screen shot, did you? lol

I'm not familiar with Gauche painting, but it looks like an extension of watercolor, which I love. I'll have to pick up the brush again with that medium.

The angel looks awesome.. nice Hawaiian touch with the Haku, and arm and ankle flower bands.. the only thing throwing me off is the purple hair. I'd like to see a Halau enter the Merrie Monarch sporting purple hair. lol!

LoniLeroux, your butterfly girl that's colored-in with the slight shadows casted off the black line edges looks almost like stained glass.

Back to 3D, here's an "industrial bug", made out of parts from an old IBM key punch machine by a coworker of mine, way back when he was in college, futtin' around in an art class...

That is kind of like what a 'net friend of mine does for his gallery work. He goes by the nym Kolschey on art forums for the most part....here's his site:

                      http://www.firstgearterritories.com/

He builds little characters out of stuff he finds, paints em up then uses illustrator to turn em into toon like figures. He then sells the actual sculpture along with the vectorized framed 'scene'.

Some really great, creative stuff on here. Already I'm having a hard time keeping up. I'll lurk for now, maybe post later.

Couple of Shih Tzu dogs (had to say dogs, otherwise you might think they're EWOKS lol) I did in pastel...

They're very cute, Pomai, and great job with the pastels! I've never been any good with them myself. My grandma has a Shih Tsu, but she can't handle the grooming so she just has him shaved every few weeks. He comes back from the groomer looking like a drowned rat!

And speaking of rats, my newest comic page that I finished last night:
