Sentencing is set for December 5. Fifteen years to life.
Surely he'll appeal today's verdict, but appeals take a loooooooong time and he'll be in the pokey waiting for it.
Heh.
Disclaimer: 20+ years ago I stepped onto an elevator and discovered OJ was in it already. He was going up.
Now he's going down.
ya know, you "get away with murder", at that point ya just don't be an ass or act like a douche...
karma is a bitch. He should not of been so, I dunno...dumb?
You're asking why O.J. didn't keep his nose clean after getting off scott free with a double murder?
He's a psychopath. Pure and simple.
People should start a petition demanding his expulsion from any hall of fame he is a member of (NCAA, NFL, USC Trojans, Buffalo Bills, etc). The man (and I use that term loosely) is a disgrace as a human being and does not deserved to be honored and admired by anyone, both now and future generations.

I have to agree with you, FM. I've had the misfortune to cross paths with 2 psycho or sociopaths in my lifetime; one in the recent past. They are definitely not cut from a normal bolt of cloth. That lack of conscience is just so bizarre.
My dad met O.J. decades ago. Can't remember if he directed him in a commercial or ran across him at a studio. The former, I think. Pop said O.J. was a charming guy. That's also a sign of a psychopath. Actually, now that I think about it, isn't that more a symptom of a sociopath than a psychopath? Not that one is better than the other...
I don't buy into Karma at all. 13 years of justice denied. But I knew eventually this creep, whom I adored in the 60s, would let his cockiness get the better of him and something like this would be his final downfall, and thankfully with no one else getting hurt. But it was a close call, as he had the guns, beef, and an exercised bad attitude to let it end up bad again.
He can face up to life in prison just for the kidnapping charge alone.
Hopefully, we'll never see him out of prison any more except in a pine box.
The judge correctly had him taken away in cuffs to a cell to await sentencing.
