        Guitar:
        Kanaia` Nakamura - Holunape
        Kekoa Kaluhiwa - Holunape
        Chad Takatsugi - Ale`a
        Nathan Aweau
        Bobby Moderow Jr. - Maunalua
        Hoku Zuttermeister

I think Kuana could also be added to this list.

        Ukulele:
        Kama Hopkins - Holunape
        Natalie Ai Kamau`u
        Keao Costa - Na Palapalai
        Uncle Kimo Alama Keaulana

I thought Kehau Tamure is the 'ukulele player. Keao plays bass as far as I know. Is that right, or do I have Keao and Kehau mixed up?

Kalapana with the Honolulu Symphony at the Waikiki Shell. That's the kind of music to fall in love with on a balmy evening under the stars.
Life is what you make of it...so please read the instructions carefully.

You didn't get them mixed up but I think for this band Keao is more versatile. Keao plays ukulele, guitar, bass, piano, etc. He'd fit the sound better.

              Hiki mai!

And I also wanted to know this: does Keawe Lopes play piano on any particular album? I heard the clips of his album and there was no piano.

However, I've definitely heard Aaron Sala play, both on his actual album and on albums by other artists. I wish I could play like he does. Well, maybe I will someday.

Re: What would be your dream Hawaiian concert?

Another group that would be in my line-up would be the group Kaukahi, thanks to achow. She shared their CD with me once. They are so good! I think the group as a whole sounds like Ho'okena, and Walt Keale's vocals and 'ukulele stylings sound like those of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Love them!

Another group I can add to my line-up is Kaukahi. In fact, I am going to see them in concert this Friday night! Yay!
