Re: Good Bad Movies
One of my favorites... MONSTER IN THE CLOSET... what's not to like? People are killed in their closets and the mandate goes out to tear down all closets. The monster is ugly and Fergie is in the movie too.
Fergie of Black Eyed Peas today.
Another one I like: SSSSSSSSS! the guy from the original Battlestar Galactica turns into a snake!I'm still here. Are you?

I LOVE bad movies, and USA Up All Night was an important part of my early college years. The Troma films, especially the first Toxic Avenger and Class of Nuke 'Em High are particular faves, but I also like Hell Comes to Frogtown, They Live, Zapped!, Paradise, and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. "Puuuubertyyyyy...puberty love...."
I really like some bad films that didn't quite fit the Up All Night mold: North Shore, Elektra, and Battlefield Earth, a movie that gets an unfair rap. It doesn't suck.
And finally, two pretty-good movies that try to disguise themselves as bad: The Barbarians and Tremors. Both much better than they should have been.Last edited by scrivener; August 25, 2010, 10:09 PM.But I'm disturbed! I'm depressed! I'm inadequate! I GOT IT ALL! (George Costanza)

I checked some YouTube clips of Up All Night. There was one for Cannibal Women starring a young Bill Maher and Shannon Tweed. Shannon Tweed was in a lot of bad movies on HBO where she showed her assets.

USA Up All Night was frustrating to watch, with the movies all chopped and edited in order to make it suitable for basic cable viewing. It would have been a lot more enjoyable to watch those movies in their full glory on a network like HBO or Showtime. But then again, on those channels, there would have been no commercial interuptions and hence, no need for Gilbert and Rhonda's comic bits and antics that were shown before and after the commercial breaks. This post may contain an opinion that may conflict with your opinion. Re: Good Bad Movies
I liked "Dune" and recently found it in the $5 DVD bin at WalMart. Saw it when the movie first came out in 1984 at the Kapiolani Theater. The movie was like this huge condensation of the sprawling Frank Herbert books which I had read a few years before.I'm still here. Are you?
