    Re: The Day After Tomorrow

Mel said: "anyone hasn't seen this movie yet, it's currently playing at the Restaurant Row $1 theaters."

I actually wouldn't mind seeing it a second time, but Restaurant Row won't let people into their theatres if they have a backpack or a shoulder bag (only ladies with purses are excepted).

      Purses??
Hay I am Woman to, But I sure don't cary any purses around
( have not, in a long time).
I have some back packs of varied sizes. I did went to R.R. with
my hubby to see Vin diesel- Chronicles of Riddick & I gave that one a B+,
Any way, I had a small back pack, but I also had a large thin light jacket,
so I just covered it up with my jacket & went in,
no one asked me about it.
Then at the end of of the movie, I was wearing my jacket,
& over that was my small back pack on my back & walked out.
Big deal, if they saw me going out with it,
I figure, what can they say, right?.

Speaking of heat and the way the earth apparently has cooling and warming periods, over thousands of years, brings to my mind the old encyclopedias I grew up with, Compton's early 60s edition. I once, before trashing them, looked up Honolulu in them and it said that the temperature of Honolulu had never, since records had been kept, gotten above 86, OR...sorry can't recall the exact number but think it was 86, or 87. WOW, since the sixties this place has gotten warmer. I wish it were like that right now, never warmer.
