The always awesome Leslie Wilcox headed the fund drive for KHET/Hawaii Public Broadcating last night and had the sweet cajones to play the entire JH at Monterey show and have discussions about it and about JH in general with Tom Moffatt, Henry Kapono, who played some cool Jimi inspired tunes, and Tom Pennebacker.
Too bad this kind of entertainment comes usually at drive time, but Leslie showed yet again why she has always been one of the state's sexiest women.
A great way to go to sleep!
Too bad Uncle Tom, when asked about his memories of Jimi's last American concert, at Blaisdell in '70, responded in total - "he was great". WELL DUH!
