I was thinking about my favorite Beatles songs and decided to make a list. Here's mine. What's yours?

I had trouble culling it down to just 10, there are so many I like.

With very few exceptions, all of The Beatles' songs are my favorites.

However to rank em numerically, I'll rely on how many times a song has been played on my iTunes this year. At the top is "Let It Be". Others follow as listed below:

I have 393 tracks in my Beatles inventory on iTunes. These are only songs they recorded as a group and does not count solo songs by individual members. So overall I play a lot of these songs and they are mostly spread out by 1, 2, 3 or 4 plays each.

If I post this list a year from now it may be somewhat different. But then again all of the songs are my favorites except for a very few... like um... "Revolution #9"...

Trying to think of a favorite Beatles song is a little like trying to pick my favorite child. My favorite depends on my mood and which song I'm thinking about at the time.

I think I've said this before - but hands down, Dear Prudence ranks number one in my book. It represents an acoustical milestone. As does Revolution #9. As far as a favorite just for the listening? Ummm....... like them all, but rarely listen to them unless they happen to be on the radio or something.

A friend used to work for one radio station in town, he would call in to request "Number Nine" on the competition. I wonder if anybody ever liked "Number Nine"...

I'll take the entire Sgt. Pepper's album, as well as the movie soundtrack, with the cast singing those tracks....

A Day in the Life. As good today as back then.
