"Sixteen" by Los Super Elegantes, one of Apple's free iTunes downloads for this week. Song is not in English but not bad. Added to my "currents" playlist.
"like a star" corinne bailey rae. how is it that a british neosoul chick would have a name that seems like it belongs to a country songstress? anyway, think macy gray, but more sparkly.
"when you wake up in the morning, tell yourself: the people i deal with today will be meddling, ungrateful, arrogant, dishonest, jealous, and surly..."--meditations, marcus aurelius (make sure you read the rest of the passage, ya lazy wankers!)

Some woo-eeey-woo-eeey new-age stuff you won't have heard of (again, for work.) Okay, to be specific, selections from the album "Out of the Darkness, Into the Light" by Michael Stribling. Quite nice, actually - you may hear it someday as you are visiting a spa...
Daddy Yankee - "Gasolina"
I've become interested in Reggaeton
Good choice; also check out Don Omar, Hector 'El Father', Trebol Clan, Baby Rasta, and Zion & Lenox. (We have a number of clients who use Reggaeton in their mix.)
Listening to Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, "Live At The Quick".
Anybody else familiar with them? Bluegrass/jazz/rock (99% instrumentals), with some of the best musicians on the planet. Check 'em out at http://www.flecktones.com.
(Jake Shimabukuro toured with them last summer, before he toured with Jimmy Buffett.)
I've also been listening to Buffett's "Live In Hawaii" double CD, recorded at the Waikiki Shell and on Maui in 2004.
