Lynn, you find that song inspiring? I think it's one of the most depressing songs I've ever heard! Plus, that song says to "keep it inside," and you pride yourself in letting it all out, especially when someone does you or someone close to you an injustice. You put yourself more out there than anyone I know -- something I both admire and wish you'd do less of!

It's the perfect "quitcher bitching and get on with it" song. (There's also an acoustic version on iTunes with just Bono singing and Edge on guitar. They leave out the second verse, but I think it's more powerful.)

Don't be put off by generational differences, and the fact that it's a 31 year old record...it WORKS.

My tastes have changed a LOT over the years, as you will see in my next pick, but music can drive the soul. Music is a VERY important part of my daily life.

KISS is one of my top 5 ways to feel better. My number one song to turn up by them is, "I Love it Loud." OOoooOOOoooh yah. Cause I looooooove it loud.

I realize though the music I sing loud to feel better is not everyones cup of tea, as I'm also fond of early 80s punker Wendy O. Williams "I Love Sex (And Rock n Roll)" which happens to have KISS singing background.
