Just a disclaimer...I'm not the kind of parent who plops the kids down in front of the TV and use it to babysit them. That said, my kids have played the heck out of the two 4 DVD Looney Tunes sets that we own. They even have a lot of episodes memorized since they prefer to watch their DVDs with the captioning on. I've always wondered if this has helped accelerate their reading level but that's another story!

They do watch Cartoon Network when they are allowed to watch TV, and I must say, a good majority of the shows on that network are well-written and produced, and like the Looney Tunes, have a lot of humor that is both funny for the kids and smart enough that only an adult could appreciate. As such, I often watch with them. Current faves include Teen Titans, Camp Lazlo, and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends.
