You should! You DEFINITELY should! They tell interesting bits of the story beyond what you see on TV.

Want to know FBI Agent Audrey Hanson's history with Sylar? It's in issue 10. Want to see exactly what Niki's alter ego Jessica did with DL's old gang? Issue 6. Did Eden really die? Did Sylar escape? Issue 11. ...and the new Hero introduced in issues 13, 14 and 15 has a facinating new power.

NBC has a funky flash-viewer, but they also let you download them as PDFs.

Besides, the comics provide a decent enough fix for the cravings you get during the hiatus.

That's strange. I couldn't find such a DVD set on bestbuy.com or amazon.com . Are you sure it was for sale in a legitimate store?

Tonight's episode has Nathan and Hiro reuniting plus linking up with Issac. If Peter wasn't in the hospital this might have been the biggest group of known heroes in one place.

Kind of funny that Hiro takes a fake sword. Interesting that sword has the symbol on the handle.

Good episode. Though you know, while I usually complain that "last time on {x} recaps" go on too long, I really could have used more refreshing tonight. I had to remind myself where we last saw our different characters, particularly Claire. It was a long wait from December!

Hiro's Japanese is getting better at the same time his English is improving! "Flying man!"

Interesting that the symbol -- up until now, an easter egg of sorts -- was called out specifically and discussed. And that some long-time skeptics are finally coming around (Nathan in particular). Ted's back, and Peter's found another "hero" (that turned up in his fevered dream).

Most significantly, "Heroes" is moving more decisively toward an ARG, with an in-universe website (Primatech Paper!) and different codes viewers can text for clues.

The parallels to "LOST" are too strong to be coincidence. I half expect both series will ultimately be the same basic story.

I like Hiro's cheerfulness, really, but his method of explanation between "Flying Man!" and "Mr. Isaac!" (Mystery Sock!) is a bit too sugary for me. That being said, Hiro is my favorite tv character, period.

Plus, please Hiro, STOP SAYING NISSAN VERSA OVER AND OVER AGAIN! The way Hiro keeps saying "Nissan Versa!" in various episodes reminds me of the movie Idiocracy when all the White House cabinet members keep saying "Brought to you by Carls Jr."

I don't know if you noticed, but when future Hiro appeared to Peter on the train, he was wearing a sword with the symbol on it.

It's also interesting that the fake sword was donated by the Linderman Group. This Linderman guy seems to be yet another "hero seeker" (like Mr. Bennet and the Doctors Suresh). Intriguing. Do any of you think Mr. Bennet is Linderman?

I was under the impression that Hiro was better able to control his power during that short time he held the sword and still thought it was real. If so, does he really need that sword?

BTW, this week's graphic novel is about Ted Sprague:

Assuming Nathan has seen Mr. Linderman before, then no. He didn't recongize Mr. Bennet when he was in Las Vegas.

Mr. Bennet as Lindermen, eh? Interesting thought. I don't know if Nathan saw Linderman personally. I got the feeling no one saw him personally, which makes anything possible.

I was just thinking that Mrs. Linderman, if there is such a soul, may be one possible biological parent for Claire... but that would make Mr. Bennet's backstory pretty convoluted.

Yeah, the Nissan Versa plugs are overdone. I didn't even know there was such a vehicle when it first surfaced in "Heroes" last year. Now I'd probably be sick of hearing about it by the time I see the first one on the road.

I agree. It's pretty sad and predictable if Hiro says at the end of this story arc "Allllll I have to dooooooo isssssss believe in myself!"

The sword is still cool, though. Too bad he wasted the future prophecy painting on posing with the fake sword at the museum.

We just had a discussion about the show over lunch, and one of my coworkers has an interesting theory. He thinks Mr. Bennet has a power, but he's not quite sure exactly what it is. He brought up some interesting (but arguable) facts.

I haven't been keeping track of Bennet's movements that closely, but my friend insists there are episodes where Mr. Bennet travels between LA, Vegas, Odessa and/or New York in amazingly short amounts of time. He also points out that Eden's body was found in Ontario, and it would have been difficult to transport a dead body so quickly so far.

His theory is that either Mr. Bennet can teleport or move at very high speeds over great distances.
