  • Re: "Heroes" on NBC

This show is still interesting. Even though there are tons of complicated story lines it has unfolded in a way that can be followed... and if some details get fuzzy there is always someone on HT who caught them and will happily recap for us.

    I look forward to more~

Trying to speculate on outcome is interesting as new characters with new powers are constantly thrown into the mix.
Speak to me in quiet ways, of moonlit nights and halcyon days~

Speaking of new powers, the newest theory (based on no spoilers) is that Linderman has a power, and that power is probability manipulation. The fact that he owns a casino and he told Nathan that "a series of fluke events" would put him in the White House.

Eden put a bullet to her brainpan to prevent Sylar from lobotomizing her and her power. It seems that's the only way he can "steal" someone else's power, whereas Pete can't control his ability to absorb and mimic other heroes' powers.

Because she's quite an efficient assassin. And he's got a hold over her (i.e., debts).

"Company Man" was THE best episode, evar!

Of course, I've said that about lots of Heroes' episodes. They have the pull that Lost, Season 1 had. I just hope it doesn't go down the tube like Lost did (for me anyway).

              Just three more weeks!

can anyone explain why they are doing things like skipping a month? are they stretching things out? are they still shooting? id rather they show a new show every other week if so.
sopranos is going to be season 7 or the rest of season 6?

Two words: Sweep Month. There are three sweep months in a season (November, February, and May) that TV networks try to increase their viewership ratings. So they're holding their best shows for those months if they could. HEROES is one of NBC's best (new) shows.

sweeps, sports, time to try new pilots for next season to replace done or dying shows....

personally I would like it more if they would just make more shows a season.... this sucks when you look for something to watch and there is NOTHING on ....I am resorting to watching the food network an I really dont need that since I an on a diet excercise regime

Okay Linderman has some sort of power, either reverse time or bring back life to kind of dead plants. And he is not alone in his generation for being meta-humans. Would Hiro's dad and Nathan/Peter's mom would also be meta-humans too?

Claire's and Peter's regenerating power somehow is affected if something sticks in their head.

And there is some sort of device that can track meta-humans located in New York City.

Ah, but do we know that
future Hiro is weevil? Maybe he's just more mature since seeing the vast destruction and more than a little bitter that he failed to prevent it?

Not sure about Hiro's dad and Nathan/Peter's mom, but the exact nature of Linderman's power is known, because of the comic books on the nbc website.
                              Linderman can heal others.

I believe it's inside the Devereaux Building (the building where Simone's father lived, and where Hiro and Ando teleported to 5 years in the future)

Helen, these would be the particular ones to read:

                                http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/dow..._novel_026.pdf

...and I'm sure Mama Patrelli has a power, we just don't know what it is yet.

The most recent graphic novel may partially answer that question.

Future Hero has been living in Issac's apartment, stringing time lines to wrap his head the events before and after the explosion. When we see him at the end of last night's episode, he'd just come back from the train station where he gave Peter the "Save the cheerleader, save the world" message. He's disappointed that despite going back in time and giving Peter the warning, New York is still in ruins. A few things are different, however.

One of the revelations I found interesting is that the mysterious Primatech Paper people actually work for Linderman. Previously, we were led to believe there were two large organizations that sought out and employed heroes, Linderman and Primatech. I always thought Primatech was some sort of secret government agency, while Linderman was, of course, a corporation. Both are obviously very well-funded. Now it looks like the Linderman Group is actually the only league of Heroes that exists so far.
