What are you talking about? Why would they expect more from Steve? just because he is cavalier and drives around in a corvette? They should judge him solely on his performances. It seems to me like they want to rag on him just because he is a rich kid from Beverly Hills.

I gotta ask. Can you distinguish the actor from their character role?

Ian's Paso Dobles is about as good as Leeza Gibbon's Paso Dobles. Both could have done better but it was lackluster.

Are you calling Sanders a character? You guys need to give him a break. I mean, to me he's right up there with that Joey Fatone guy from New Kids on the Block. He may not have the "right stuff" to those of you who have been sipping the hatorade but I think Steve is one of the better dancers on the show;he's much better than Cliff or Billy Ray.

Forget Gabrielle, I'd rather see Laird Hamilton AKA "Lance Burkhart" on the show. Laird is a real athlete. Laird is cool but there is that one time when he snaked Rick Kane's leash during a competition at Pipe... I lost a little respect for him after that move.

Heather was better than Cliff and Billy Ray, too. Why Billy Ray is still there I'll never know. He doesn't have the likeability or the (lack of) dancing skills of last season's Jerry Springer! "Cliff", at least, has some likeability factor goin' for him. Ian's good enough to make the top 4 but unless someone really screws up big time, I can't see him beating out Laila, Apolo or Joey.

I really thought emotional voting would carry Heather a lot further...certainly past Billy Ray and John. Oh well...

Everyone lost respect for him. It was totally caught on camera. But he's a better surfer than Kane could ever dream of being, and enough time has passed, I forgive him.

Of course, "Brazil". That was driving me crazy. All I could think of was "At Last" and I knew that wasn't it. I used to dance to "Brazil" at the Old Kahala Hilton's Maile Lounge 6 nights a week. Such fun!
