Cant say I'm Nice, If its raining or I think it is, then I send out the dog. If he comes in wet then I know it's chucking it down.

Actually, I love it. It has come out of stories I made up and told to my students for years. After many, many people who have urged me to do something with it - now I have. BTW - more info is under the announcement section.

I have been absent from posting lately, but it has nothing to do with anyone being mean to me or my being ignored. I like to think I am one of the "nice" people - even if I occasionally assume the mom role and say to someone - "that's not nice." I always meant it with the utmost love and respect.

The reason I have been absent is that I have been extremely busy. I will post details of it under "announcements " (and yet, as I write this - there is a fear in me to make this announcement - what if everyone hates it )

For some dopey reason, I was re-reading an old HT thread today, one that generated an incredible amount of heat, insults and anger (and no, I'm not going to say which one.)

But it was interesting to note that the majority of the most-insulting posters in that thread are long gone. In fact, many of the small handful of people who were ever banned from HT (for reasons not having to do with spam) were participants in that discussion. A wise lesson for the rest of us.

Overall, I find HT to be a much "nicer" place than it was then. YMMV.

Now, I gotta go take something for the headache that developed from reading that thread.
