That's actually the proper lettering. Thanx!

Please keep in mind that the role of a moderator is not the same as the role of the administrator. Setting the parameters of how a forum operates is more towards the role of the administrator.

I wanted to cap my OCCUPY HONOLULU thread. But there are MANY reasons to want all caps that don't include shouting
I tried to change the title to OCCUPY Honolulu and it took that. When I tried to enter OCCUPY HONOLULU it came out as Occupy honolulu. So I tried again to set it OCCUPY Honolulu which is now the title of the thread.

Sounds like we all have differing definitions of "communicating." Or rather: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2f-MZ2HRHQ

Ron, you already said there were reasons. I asked what they were. Clearly, Mel's answer (a good one) doesn't apply in your situation. You respond with "there are many reasons." Communicating with you IS NO FUN.

Hm. That's a good answer. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks, Mel.

Funny thing is that we have used all caps in titles (but not very often) in the radio and TV section. There is a topic simply called KQMQ. Radio and TV station call letters, network names (ABC, CBS, NBC) are usually listed in all caps. So in theory could we have a topic called ABC CBS NBC CNN BET?

Most of the topic titles in the radio TV section are a combination of all caps and upper lower case: KNAN-FM testing or KZOO surprise.

Its a vbulletin thing. I don't know why this is so, maybe its to prevent people from shouting in the titles.

started a topic No all caps in title?

    No all caps in title?

Why can't all caps be used in the title? Sometimes it's needed.
And why can't we correct the title when it's auto-messed with?
Working...
