"A'oia" by Johnny Almeida. Mostly recently recorded by Island Rhythms on their first CD, "We Are One".

Another Hawaiian one (hint: it's very old):

"Ua lawa makou i ka pohaku,
            I ka 'Ai kamaha'o o ka 'aina."

Wow Miulang, you didn't strike me as a music buff.

What's the song title for this?

              "Humpty-back trunk, unlimited junk.
Tonight the Makawao Dump is fine."

Kaulana na pua, a song originally considered sacred and not for dancing.

heheheh. Google says it's the "Makawao Dump" song by Jon Osorio and Randy Borden from their first album. BTW: I don't think there ever was a "formal" Makawao Dump. Maybe some of the gulleys closer to Haiku have seen a few discarded refrigerators and washing machines and car carcasses, though!

But that's not what the title of the song is, according to Jon Osorio himself just a couple of months ago.

                            Okay. It ain't so.
The second review in the link you provided says "Humor in music takes many forms, but rarely as laugh-out-loud funny as what singer Jo Stafford and pianist Paul Weston accomplish here, appearing as their alter-egos, Darlene and Jonathan Edwards."
And another review says that sang for friends and recorded as a joke, so it's absolutely not the same person.
                            Whew.
                            .
                            .

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

                              OK, back to the lyrics:

I’m gonna keep on the run,
I’m gonna have me some fun,
If it costs me my very last dime.

Sorry to disappoint - not the same.

Jonathan Edwards is a pop-folkie, who had a big radio hit back in 1971, called "Sunshine" ("Sunshine, go away today...") He's also been in high demand as a producer (I know his work for artists like Cheryl Wheeler and Maura O'Connell.)

Jonathan & Darlene Edwards were pseudonyms for the talented duo of Paul Weston & Jo Stafford, doing their best to create horrible performances as a comedy musical act - since they were such skilled musicians, they were among the best as doing "bad" so brilliantly. (See also "P.D.Q. Bach.")
